In 2005 Clint Bowyer has been named the of recent origin driver of the No. 2 ACDelco Monte Carlo for Richard Childress Racing, replacing Ron Hornaday. The ACDelco Chevrolet is a proven car that has delivered a NASCAR Busch Series-best, three championships, along with 27 race wins, since 1997

NHRA Pro Stock drag racing

ACDelco is back with NHRA driver Kurt Johnson and will labor for as the title sponsor of the 5th Annual ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals (Oct 20-23) Johnson has now finished in the top 10 in the championship standings in 12 consecutive years, which is the longest active streak in Pro Stock, and the other longest among all NHRA professional categories. This year, Johnson will introduce his novel Pro Stock Chevrolet Cobalt.

IHRA Pro Mod drag racing

ACDelco continues its involvement in the IHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series. Harold Martin, along with his ACDelco Pontiac Grand Am, contemplates forward to a successful 2005 season. Known as the "EFI Wizard," he captured his first Pro Mod win in 2004 while finishing third in the points chase. His outstanding performance began equable before he got behind the wheel. His 10 world patents during his days as a GM engineer serv as a precursor to his succes onward the track. In addition, ACDelco will obey as the title sponsor of the 5th Annual ACDelco Virginia IHRA Nationals (May 26-28)

ACDelco present to view car program

ACDelco is pleased to show race-ready replicas of all of their drivers' racecars to be used at customers' locations. The display cars draw large crowds at each stop, and ACDelco customers can use the cars to boost traffic and forward sales.
