We must be careful that the rhetoric of "competitiveness' doesn't become a recent code word for wage turn to ices concessionary contracts, and other anti-worker policies.

Frankly, we must behold how the currently proposed trade legislation works to save American jobs

If the enacted legislation and its actual execution doesn't work, then newer, tougher legislation may be called for.

The President should always turn the thoughts out for the national interest. First, I support hale and strict enforcement of our trade laws. However, getting our trading partners to cope fairly is not enough. unruffled if all markets were interpret U.S. industry must still work forward improving its fundamental productivity. That means resisting efforts to balance the assortment by raising taxes. Increasing taxes onward business at home can barely raise the prices of our produces and make them less competitive abroad.
